General Return Guidelines
- Packaging:
- Return the product in its original packaging, including all parts and freebies.
- Proper packing is essential to avoid damage during transit.
- Incorrect Products:
- If an incorrect product is handed to the courier, Global Baby Care is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss during transit.
- Quality Control Inspection:
- At pickup, the courier may inspect the product for:
- Brand consistency
- Style, color, and size
- Packaging condition (resalable state)
- Presence of all accessories
- Security tags on garments
- Unused condition
- If these parameters are not met, the return request may be put on hold.
- At pickup, the courier may inspect the product for:
- Processing Returns and Exchanges:
- After the product is received and passes quality checks at our facility, the replacement or exchange product will be shipped to your address. For returns, refunds will be processed accordingly.
- Shipping Charges:
- A fixed shipping fee of ₹50 will be charged if a customer refuses delivery of the original order or the replacement/exchange product once shipped.
- Coupon or Offer Products:
- If any product from an order placed using a coupon or offer is returned, the coupon/offer will no longer apply. Refunds will not include the coupon benefit.
- However, replacements or exchanges will retain the benefit of the original coupon or offer.
Specific Categories
- Furniture Products:
- These can be returned within 48 hours post-delivery in cases of damage, missing components, incorrect delivery, or non-functional items.
- Store Purchases:
- Products purchased from kiosks or physical stores must be returned to the store. Online returns are not applicable for in-store purchases.
How Replacement/Exchange Works
- Submit a replacement/exchange request within the specified window by visiting the “Order History” section and clicking the relevant option.
- Ensure the product is unused, unwashed, untorn, and retains all original tags and packaging.
- Upon approval of your request, the original product will be picked up.
- Once received and verified, the replacement/exchange product will be shipped to your address.
Refunds
Refunds for returns will be initiated after the product is received and verified at our facility. The mode of refund depends on the payment method used:
- Original Payment Method:
- Refunds will be credited to the same payment method (e.g., a debit card refund will be processed to the linked bank account).
- Global Baby Care Wallet:
- Refunds can be credited to your Global Baby Care Wallet for use in future purchases.
Refund Guidelines
- Cash-on-Delivery (COD):
- Refunds will be credited to your bank account. Ensure accurate details are provided during the refund process.
- Shipping and Convenience Fees:
- These fees are non-refundable. However, for self-return cases, shipping costs up to ₹100 or 10% of the product price (whichever is lower) may be reimbursed upon uploading the receipt.
- Coupon and Club Benefits:
- Club benefits used during payment will be credited back to the Club account, while benefits earned on the product will be deducted.
- Gift Certificates:
- Refunds for purchases made using gift certificates will be credited to the wallet. To transfer to a bank account, follow the refund steps.
- EMI Orders:
- For canceled or returned EMI orders, the full purchase amount will be refunded. Contact your bank for EMI closure details.
- Wallet Payments:
- Payments made via wallets like Paytm or MobiKwik will be refunded to the original wallet.
Nominal Fees for High Return Rates
Customers with a high return rate may be charged a nominal fee of ₹25 or another amount as determined by Global Baby Care.
